Men's Chili Cookoff
The men of Calvary will gather on the school property for the annual Men's Chili Cookoff on January 10th, 2009. Chili, soft drinks, and sides will be served. The men compete to create the best chili (or the spiciest!), and awards are given for the most mouth-watering pots.
Come and join the fun, even if you can't cook! Feel free to bring your teenaged sons. Sign up in the foyer in January.

Baby Day
On Sunday, January 25th, during the morning service, infants and one-year-olds will be presented to the congregation and have their photo taken with Pastor Broyhill. If your baby is not yet two-years-old, sign up in the nursery foyer to participate in Baby Day. You will pick up your baby from the nursery after Sunday School and meet in the left hallway of the church. Afterwards, you may return your baby to the nursery. Our two- and three-year-olds will also be participating in the service; they will be taken by nursery workers directly from their nursery to the auditorium to sing, then taken back to their nursery.

Pastor's Prayer Team Meeting
The Pastor's Prayer Team meets the last Sunday of every month after the evening service in the Discovery Bible Classroom.
Any adult in the church can serve as a part of the Pastor's Prayer Team. Each person on the prayer team is given a prayer partner (our partners are always men paired with men, and ladies with ladies). Each partner first calls the Pastor's prayer line (983-2190) for the daily devotional and prayer requests, then calls his prayer partner to pray together over the phone for Pastor.
