Adult Bible Classes

"Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."  II Timothy 2:15. 

The Bible tells us we are to study God's Word.   We believe every member of Calvary Baptist Church should be faithful to Sunday School.  Calvary Baptist Church offers a wide variety of classes for children, teens, and adults.  Our adult classes are listed below.

College and Career Class - Brandon Lawson brings pertinent messages to this energetic group of college students and recent high school and college graduates. Many fun-filled activities are planned throughout the year.

Singles Class- Larry Anders leads this class through lessons and discussion. Join the class, and develop meaningful relationships with classmates and a love for the things of God. An abundance of activities are organized each season in this exciting class for all types of singles.

Partners for Christ Class - Young married couples will build relationships as they fellowship with others in this friendly class. Pastor Scott Vernon leads the class with engaging lessons on marriage, parenting, and more.

Homebuilders Class - Want to train your kids God's way, and need guidance to do so? Dan Bulman's dynamic style of teaching relevant lessons from the Old and New Testament is appropriate for all families who seek to raise a godly seed.

Calvary Bible Class - Empty-nesters will appreciate Jimmy Cartwright's thoughtful messages on Christian growth in this season of life. This is a smaller, close-knit group.

Discovery Bible Class - Age groups vary in this exciting class, led by Kerry Sheppard. Both singles and couples enjoy the Bible study and teaching; bring your notebook!

Auditorium Class - Bob Lambertus' colorful style enlivens his thorough Bible lessons. This class is designed for mature believers interested in learning more about God.

Ladies Prayerful Hearts Class - Need some practical, yet heart-warming lessons on being a virtuous woman in today's world? Marilyn Comstock leads this loving group of middle-aged ladies as they study God's word.

Ladies Yielded Vessels Class - Young and older ladies alike will enjoy Donna Agee's heartfelt lessons on Christian womanhood. Many class gatherings are scheduled throughout the year.

Men's Class - This class is for driven men seeking wise counsel and the opportunity to participate in Bible study in a group setting. Mike Yarbrough leads these dedicated men through engaging studies.
