Pancake Supper

The Calvary Christian School Senior Class will be hosting a Pancake Supper on November 19th from 5:00-6:30pm. The meal will be held in the cafeteria on the school property (748 Spainhour Road). The meal will include pancakes, sausage, biscuits, and gravy, along with milk, coffee, and sweet tea.

The cost is $5 for 7th graders through adults, $3 for 1st-6th graders, and $2 for two-year-olds through five-year-olds. The money will be used for the CCS senior trip this coming spring.

Ministry Directors' Meeting

There will be a meeting for all ministry directors on November 19th after church. Pastor Broyhill will be explaining our upcoming Ministry Involvement Sunday (February 15th) and discussing other ministry-related matters.

Thanksgiving Meal and Service

Celebrate Thanksgiving with your church family on Tuesday, November 25th. Bring a hearty appetite for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, complete with turkey and ham, and the usual holiday sides, including pumpkin pie. Pick up your ticket at church before Tuesday, or pay at the door when you come. Prices are listed above (click "Thanksgiving Meal and Service" if you don't see the prices.) If you have a large family, please be aware that the highest amount you'll pay is $30.00 for your entire household.

At 7:15pm the meal will be followed by a devotional and testimonies; an opportunity for you to show your gratitude for what the Lord has done for you this year. If you can't make it to the meal, please come to the service at seven.

Our usual Wednesday service will not be held the week of Thanksgiving.

Pastor's Prayer Team Meeting

The Pastor's Prayer Team meets the last Sunday of every month after the evening service in the Discovery Bible Classroom.

Any adult in the church can serve as a part of the Pastor's Prayer Team. Each person on the prayer team is given a prayer partner (our partners are always men paired with men, and ladies with ladies). Each partner first calls the Pastor's prayer line (983-2190) for the daily devotional and prayer requests, then calls his prayer partner to pray together over the phone for Pastor.

Partners for Christ Couples' Christmas Party

The Partners for Christ Sunday School class will gather at Mike and Angie McKinney's home on Saturday, December 13th for a delicious Christmas meal and fellowship. A map to the McKinneys' home will be given out in Sunday School the week before the party. Bring a side dish of vegetables, bread, dessert, or drinks to enjoy with the meats provided by the class. Meet at the McKinneys' at 6:30 pm.
